FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 redefined Beyond Greatness with a unifying global soundtrack celebrating women and culture
OBJECTIVE
Build a defining music platform for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 to amplify momentum, making it the biggest event in women’s sport and inspire people through sound.
RESULT
A bespoke tournament sound system was created to express Beyond Greatness celebrating the collision of cultures across the host nations while globalising the values of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Two original musical pillars anchored the program. ‘Unity’ a powerful Sonic ID by Kelly Lee Owens was used across all key tournament moments. ‘Do It Again’ the Official Anthem by host nation talents Benee and Mallrat was performed live at the Closing Ceremony. Together the music elevated women in football and music onto a global stage transforming the tournament’s emotion identity and cultural impact.
